Lookin at today's games there's only one stand out fixture. Gotta be Ipshit against the B boys. I know it's "early doors" but these are the front runners and i think the game as got draw written all over it. The Championship seems to ave more than it's fair share of draws. With the points system as it is (three points for a win) i think teams that "throw caution to the wind" may well be rewarded with a top six place. Look at pre season favourites Derby, unbeaten, but where are they in the table. On a more specific note, i can't see the R's messin it up at Uddersfield today.

Remarkable how Mick gets Ipswich to win games, it literally defies belief given their style, really living up to his Merlin tag now.
Did you know, in last week's win, only three of their players completed more than 50% of their passes, quite staggering and to put that into perspective the average pass completion in footy is around 75%.
They also play the most long balls in the division as well.
Wins are wins I suppose, but can't say I would be happy watching that.

How you feeling about your hopes by the way?
Despite a rocky start I still fancy us to finish in and around the play off spots, assuming we keep our players that is.

Ipswich are doing it at the moment and they aven't spent a lot. I think they'll get found out though, as you say that old fashioned style can't be maintained. Brighton, i think will be thereabouts for the duration. Same as that regarding keeping players, the next few days will tell us a lot. Crazy game at your place the other week. Well, from what i've seen so far it's wide open this season, the bookies must be lovin it.

When you talk about keeping players i presume Afobe is one of them.
