With all the doom and gloom about the club in the last week or two, today could be a good day to be a Bhoy.
First of all if reports are correct we may be set to land a windfall of 5 million YES 5 million for Maloney and Samaras. If this is true then Peter Lawell has to applauded for managing to get that sort of money.
There is also reports that we will replace these 2 players with Baba and Bangura with reports suggesting a combined fee of between 4 - 6 million.
Bangura i know nothing about however a portugese workmate of mine has giving me a glowing report of Baba and is disappointed that his team Benfica hasn't tried to sign him. He says he quick and strong and has improved immensley in the last year. His main attribute is his ability in the air which we have definetley been missing. I asked what player is he similar too he said a younger trezeguet although not as good obviously.
and last but not least we may well find ourselves back in Europe if UEFA do the right thing and kick the cheats out. It is a tought group but at least we will have a few extra million from it.

Wont get my hopes up but will be happy if any of this is true. I dont think we would spend 2 mill on a couple players each without a player leaving the club so maybe.

Samaras and Maloney going would be a truly great piece of business. Getting anything like £4m+ for the pair would be nigh on unbelievable!!
Bangura and Diawara would improve the competition up front no question both are fast and powerful and Bangura in particular is the one that excites me most. I stayed in Stockholm for a few months earlier this year and this guy was all the media there talked about.
All we would then need is Paul Dixon off Dundee utd to cover for Izaguirre and we'd be set for the season.

Samaras play in the English Premier League? He will be so far out of his depth. Haven't heard about you bhoys being linked to Paul Dixon, all I can say is he would not be good enough for Celtic.
