Have we even started playing yet?

My biggest concern isn't the loss we had yesterday. My concern is, so far, we've been lucky to scrape those results in. Off side goal allowed, opposition goal disallowed when it shouldn't have been, etc. Had those small things gone against us, our sitation would be much worse than where our current league position indicates. If we don't start playing well soon, Brendan will know he's heading out of the club. No player is bigger than the team. No manager is either.

I'm sure he knows this so he should try his hardest and we'll see whether it's enough.

"It has been an absolute privilege to manage this club and have the supporters behind us but of course, you have to do well to earn that and I know I need to earn that again."

That's from Rodgers before first game of the season.

"We do believe Brendan is the right man for Liverpool and the right man to take the club forward. When we hired Brendan we wanted to see improvement.

And that's from Tom Werner around the same time.

West Ham did the same to Arsenal, so it seems at the moment teams holding firm in defence, and playing on the break are reaping rewards judging by some of the results of late, with Arsenal, ourselves, Chelsea stuttering at home, and United being held by Newcastle also.
Too early to judge either way, but I imagine we simply cannot play much worse than we did yesterday, irrespective of the opponents tactics, and how well they deployed them.
As far as I am concerned, when Sturridge returns, we simply have to play two up front, to occupy the oppositions back four.
Was a bit of a stroll for West Hams defence yesterday if the truth be told.
