Why Jose is a winner

I am not reacting to Liverpool 0-3 defeat today by asking for Brendan resignation today.
The reasons jose is the best manager in the Premier is his reaction when he spots a weakness in his teams.
He has already seen one in his team and has reacted by trying to buy an obvious future world class defender.
Why has the other managers not reacted and try to hijack the deal?

Stone is good enough to walk into any team in the top 6 now.

The reason they don't is the simple mentality to splash out £40 million on a defender. It frightens them.
That sort of money should be splashed out on a offensive player.

jose knows a great defender are as vital as the forward line.
That is why he is so successful.

For me Man City would have held onto their title last season with another decent defender. Their defenders would not have walked into a Chelsea side last season except for their out of form Captain.

To challenge for a trophy you need a very good goalkeeper and a sound defence to narrow down any defeats especially when your team are not playing 100% or having an off day.

Liverpool was having all these problems. They need to buy the full package.

I know Everton will not sell Stones to us but Rodgers has not reacted to our defensive problems at all.

jose has costa, matic, and terry in the key positions. These players will not allow themselves to be bullied. Players that we lack when our oppositions are up for it.

We have a good team but our weaknesses need to be addressed.

City spent £30 odd million on a centre back last summer, and have replaced him with another expensive import this year.

Kind of contradicts the entire article content.

Being able to spend £40mil on a defender is neither a mentality nor 'genius'

It's all down to the size of daddy's chequebook

man city has an attacked minded manager. Does not have a clue what to look for in a great defender.
Wenger and Rodgers have the same problem.

City spent £30m on a CB last season who played badly.

This season, the same player has been impeccable and City are yet to concede a goal.

Sometimes you have to take a gamble.
