What's the excuse this time LVG?

What an horrendous result. What excuse will the boss have today?

We spend all this money yet resort to hoofing it to a big man for 15 minutes.
We have control of the game first 20 mins, and at 1-0, but don't take as many chances as we should when on top.
We don't actually create that much, and very little when the opposition sits everyone behind the ball.
We have no-one who can beat a man, run with the ball at pace and frighten defenders.
We have terrible strikers. I love Rooney but he's so out of form it's unreal and offers nothing.
The GK situation is a complete **** up. DDG, Valdes, Lindegaard, Johnstone - I assume none of them know for sure where they'll be next week.
This club is a shambles at the moment and is playing some of the worst "attacking" football I've ever seen.

And we don't need to add to the squad? What team/games are the manager and board watching?

One more (bitter) thing - why should Swansea even be in the EPL???!!!

I wrote last year what Van Gaal does and got shouted down. Now you have more evidence. He sells off all the local, national talent and buys in overpriced, over-rated (usually Dutch) players and basically rapes the club of its identity. He then invariably leaves the club in turmoil. You are at stage 2 of three!

Oh goodie.

He destroyed Barça and it took us years to get our style back. More by luck than judgement, Rykjaard came in, Laporta bought Ronaldinho and we managed to get our identity back but now before LVG basically upset all the best players at the club and sold off all the La Masia players (Oscar, Roger, Sergi, Ferrer etc) and bought terrible Dutch players (Reizegger, Bogarde etc)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, damn LVG for giving Xavi, Puyol and Iniesta their places in the first team squad.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But they didn't play regularly or become the players you know until much later. Xavi was on the verge of being sold to Chelsea. Puyol became an icon after all the defenders LVG bought resulted in being incapable of defending. He just used to play the ball back to front in one pass - usually towards the wings. It was definitely not what we wanted to see. Blind defence of the man will not cover up the truth.

Xiux - fair enough but he won you two league titles and you took him back for a second spell

That's what really pi$$ed us off - we took him back. Gaspart (club president) took him back after he'd been sacked. He bankrupt us!

You can't blame a manager for the financial state of a club

You can. He gave away our squad and bought a lot of mediocre players. The players that won him the league (Rivaldo etc) were there before his arrival. Then in his second spell, he freed Rivaldo and bought Riquelme for a lot of money. He has absolutely no idea. Just look at his record outside Holland - he doesn't leave the club in a better state than when he found it.

I have never heard LvG make excuses for our performances

Anyway. I see I will not convince you but I promise you, you have another 200 million or so to waste before your board of directors realise he is a long ball merchant and that your most effective player is a hard working midfielder bought from Everton by the previous manager.
