Arsenal wish they played the type of football Swansea do.
Good going forward, easy on the eye, tough when needed and are unbeaten so far.
On far less budget than Arsenal.
Food for thought.
P.s this board would have a meltdown if Arsenal scored that second Swansea goal. Brilliant football. I am envious.
Garry Monk is proving to be a top manager.
Good luck to them.
Swansea.

i get the point you are trying to make but 4 games is a pretty small sample set

They were in the PL last season too?

So were we? And we looked better IMO? And finished higher in the league?

Difference is teams try and play against Swansea which make them look better than what they are. If they played 90% of games where teams park the bus they would struggle but they won't so will always look good.

And where will they be at the end of the season? You sound a lot like Robb really

The most flukey smash-and-grab I saw last season was Swansea's win at the Emirates. Barely had a kick, but the caants still won with their only chance close to injury time. They've always been an awkward team for us since promotion. Monk has done brilliantly for a rookie.

On a much higher budget.
Credit where it's due. They play better looking football than Arsenal do. You would expect arsenal to finish above them given the tens of millions more they have spent.

Am I supposed to know who 'Robb' is?

Boss makes a good point. Teams a\re more open against Swansea . Against us they park the bus and /or are over physical and try and kick us off the park.
Having said that we are not even trying to play incisive, attacking football. We just pass the ball to death and the movement from defence to attack is far to slow and deliberate. Without reverting to Manyure ball A.K.A hoofball we need to move the ball much faster when we attack.

Too slow a buildup was our problem in 2nd half v Liverpool when we got on top. We did not create much that was clearcut.
