Always used to laugh at this stage of the season, deadline day. Sitting back knowing united had done their business early and watching all the wheeler dealers running around to the Benny Hill theme tune. Naff day seeing who would be Peter Crouchs 47th club and where Yossi Benayon would go out on loan.
Not now. United are an absolute mess. I know certain fans want huge overhauls each season but this is bordering on ridiculous. Selling virtually all our attacking talent; RVP, Di Maria, Falcao, Nani, Hernandez etc even the deal for Januzaj has an option for BVB to buy! We have 2 young potential players in Memphis and possibly Martial to come in. Virtually no squad depth and we're expecting to cope with extra CL games?! ABSOLUTE MESS. I miss the old days!!!

This isn't a mess and it's ridiculous to describe it as such.
We have our Midfield and Defence sorted and it looks like De Gea is staying another season.
We need additional players up front and we just spent 36mill on one. I don't see the problem.
We can compete with the talent we have, my biggest concern isn't our squad but our tactics and players being played out of position.

Our defence is certainly not sorted. We still have no partner for Smalling.
I don't even think that our midfield is sorted. It may be better than last year but It's bloated. Adding SchweinySchneidy has meant our best midfielder of the last two years getting insufficient game time.
