From what I can remember of seeing him he is a very decent CB.

You are always going to get some fans unhappy with whoever we go for, Jagielka, Cahill, Dann, Samba, Gervinho etc have all been slated.

Stats mean nothing. If Per Mertesacker cost 9million euros, then we better pay another 3 or 4 million and get Cahill. I am sure Bolton will sell him around 10-12 million.
