Obviously this latest balls up will cost us money and a decent keeper who is willing to play for us, but I facking hate the way we have become a feeder club for Madrid and sticking one to them like this is brilliant.
I expect De Gea to play his contract out this season with us if the move doesn't go through because he will need to be playing regularly to get the No.1 spot for the Euro 2016 Championship.
He can go for free next year and we can sign a quality replacement. Unlucky Madrid
I don't even care anymore.

You are both right, but there is no denying that this is hilariously funny stuff!

We weren't coming out winners either way. Our best player was going to them.
He'll still join them anyway

Hopefully we will be having a good laugh about it tomorrow.
But coming on the same day as one of the biggest transfer gambles in history, we're ripe for mockery as a club at the moment I'm afraid.

Guess Madrid should have given us Ramos and money like we wanted. Their loss xD

Now Madrid keep their money, keep Ramos, and sign De Gea next year on a free potentially? Not sure they've lost TOO much. 95% of their matches won't be decided by which keeper they have this season.

I expect him to sit out the season in the stands and miss out on Euro 2016, then move with his tail between his legs.
For me, if his move to RM is definitely off then he has 2 choices. The first is the above scenario. The second is he signs a new contract and commits to United.

Wow. Anyone who thinks this is Madrid's loss is deluded, sorry.

He'll still go. Real and united want this to happen and it will be sorted.

There is a real possibility that they will have a transfer ban for the next 2 windows, much like Barca have had. If that happens it very much is RM's loss. And DDG's.

Your option 2 is very stupid as it will unlikely happen. if Madrid get a transfer ban he will move to any club of his choice as a free agent and get a huge sign on bonus. He would be the biggest idiot to commit to United now.
Your suggestion he would is quite silly. He didn't run down his contract so he can change his mind last minute
