I cant believe Cech will likely be our only signing how can Wenger be so blind? he can't use 'not enough time excuse' he's had all window kondogbia & scniederlin were both afforderable. we need a goalscorer to. 1 goal in 4 games from our players is worse the crap

PL transfers can be concluded a lot quicker than European deals as league registration documents already held.

Given that anyone in the EPL will cost an extra 20 million for the sake of it, that rules out those signings. He's clearly not paying over the odds for anyone, so we can for get a "plus 20 mil English tax," signing, those are least likely of all.

Sky sports news are saying it's likely we won't be bringing anyone in today.

it's not about signings...it's about wenger!

The ambition just isn't there anymore
-----------------------------
Well that's not entirely true is it?

Two draws against Bayern Munich and we can top the group and end up with a decent draw.

Unlike last year we might actually have a fully fit first XI to field in the knockout stages.

Barca might get Real Madrid in the semis and before you know it we're playing an injury ravaged Barcelona in the final.

I was in Paris for the CL final when we were 1-0 nil up - you need luck more than ambition.

City and Chelsea were already better than us before their new signings.

Now both are a few levels ahead of us, especially City

Castor Troy

If David Silva slips on the stairs and lands on Sergio Aguero at five minutes past midnight. And they are both out for an Arsenal style injury lay off.

They won't win the title.

There is no way we will (in the foreseeable future) be on a par with Chelsea or City on a financial perspective unless AFC transform the business model of the club.

That said, at least spending the money available to strengthen may have helped us challenge.
