... with incomings balanced against outgoings I think we spent about Β£700K in this Transfer Window which is not bad when you take into our account our Β£60M a year from Sky however we did need a DM & a Striker plus we have to put up with PARASITE - Adebayor - we should SACK HIM and let him take us to Court !!

Levy ought to F**K Adebayor off giving him staged payments a quid a week for the rest of his life

I think Spurs would have a serious case for terminating Adebayor`s contract without recourse to any money or compensation. He is a complete and utter moron the way he is behaving. I mean WTF he has not put an ounce of effort into Spurs the last 12 months or so, and then he wants a £5 million payoff. Mercenary ponce.

Transfer league says £9m+ but either way it's not a lot.
I'm not sure Spurs have any money left due to the stadium which is fair enough.

What angers me most about Adebayor and what has proved time and time again despite a certain poster on here who seems to think Ade is the victim is the fact that he just doesn't want or have any passion to play football and never has done. If this was the case he would be pushing as hard as he could for a move this window so he can prove himself. He decided against Villa because they wouldn't meet his demands and didn't turn up for a west ham medical the guy is a parasite and I don't want him anywhere near our club. Let him rot until his contract runs out. If he does ever play I hope the spurs fans boo him all game and I couldn't give a f*** if anyone's got a problem with my views either

We r, thing is you got spurs supporters telling me " your not a real fan" .... How about I'm sick to death of this guy taking the p*** out of the club and me ( as a supporter) who shells out my hard earned money. I wouldn't have a problem spurs fans booing him and they are completely justified. The usual chronic and that will be ok here soon with their high moral bull*** but fact of the matter is this guy has been taking spurs and it's fans for a ride for years.

He's unfortunately well within his rights to demand full payment of his contract. I'm sure many players will settle for a reduced amount in order to get a fresh start elsewhere and resume their career, evidently he's not one of them. Wish the club would accept defeat on this one, pay up and tell him to hit the bricks. Would put an end to this once and for all.

He doesn't really care. He is earning £100,000 a week and is not interested in achieving anything football wise. Once his contract runs out he will look to find another club to rinse.
I'm guessing he won't have any part to play this season but would Levy rather pay him off and let him find another club and make more money or "punish" him by not terminating his contract and forcing him to "work".
It's either have him sold/ loaned or left rotting.
Maybe Barcelona wanted to keep them involved in training and build an understanding for later on but Turan or Aleix Vidal would have been great 6 month loans.
Felipe Melo also went Inter Milan for about £2.5m which we could have easily spent. If it turned out to be unsuccessful signing that big deal. Adebayor earns that amount semi-annually.
