Traore

has officially left. i guess qpr scouts didn't watch the game on sunday... nah in all seriousness i wish him all the best. he stayed at our club for 5 years and he's only 21! we all had high hopes for him but with the emergence of gibbs and his inability to defend, we had to let him go. attacking wise he was decent but like most our players, his defending was suspect. he was one of our quickest players and could (sometimes) whip in one hell of a delivery. will be a decent buy for rangers. good luck to the kid. hope he does well and fulfils his unquestionable potential.

Is it permanent or a loan?

We've failed to sign Hazard, Samba, Lucho and Mata.

But we've sold Traore.

Just for that... I forgive you, Arsene.

As long as he helps take points off United ( ), Citeh, Chavski, Liverpool and Spurs and gifts us a couple of goals in both our games against them, I wish him all the best.

What I like about this deal, is that we're possibly seeing a much colder hearted side to Wenger now.

Had Traore been MOTM on Sunday, would we be selling him?

My guess is that such a scenario, (however unlikely) would've given Arsene enough proof to think that Traore is up to it.

Apparently the guy nonchalantly sauntered off chewing gum and smiling at OT.

Good riddance then.

On the other hand we could have seen an incredibly stupid side of him where he was putting faith in a player he knew would be sold the following day. Traoré's performance against United was completely effortless. He wasn't even trying and I was far from surprised to hear the next day that he was off. Jenkinson was ripped apart aswell on Sunday but at least he put in some effort.

Why dont we sell everybody while we at it. Four senior players plus atleast other three have left in one transfer window. What a ambition?

That is indeed the flip side of the argument Batmanu.

There was a time I'd have poo-pooed such an explanation. Now I'm sadly resigned to the destinct possibility that that is more than likely to be nearer the truth than any rational reason might be.

Oh Arsene.

Traoré was not a senior member of our squad, he was deadwood we could not get rid of. Will you be complaining if some club is stupid enough to take Squillaci and Almunia off our hands before the deadline tomorrow? Because I won't.
