Dont get it. Qualify for every comp for the last 20+ years and ranked below a team who have qualified for nothing in 50+ years.
Actually I do get it, its called following the swiss route. Pick a load of soft friendlies and you can get ranked in the top 6.

That's not what I said exactly - maybe lost in translation ... but England couldn't even fluke their way to a competition win!

'But you look at the team sheets and tell me which line up is better?'
'Forget form, look at the players.'
Seems pretty clear you meant that the team with the better players is the better team. Don't get me wrong we had a disastrous World Cup campaign as well as Spain and it would be ridiculously unlikely for England to win a international tournament with our current crop of players. But I don't think that means they can't be ranked higher than Spain who have been in poor form by their high standards for nearly 2 years. It's not about the players you have it's about your results.

England have no passion....Did you see the way Wales players celebrated the goal last night?
Honestly think Wales would do England, Bale and Ramsey are head and shoulders above anyone in the England side.

The welsh defence is better than England's too, maybe not on paper but performances have backed this up

Wales have a plan defend tight as a unit and rely on Bale to produce a magic moment which he often does and its working.
England in the other hand play slow boring predictable football, have no style of play and no world class players.

Yet England are one of only two teams (the other being Slovakia) to have 100% record in the qualifiers.
Results come before exciting football, and so far in this campaign England have gone out and done what they are supposed to do. Bash them all you like for a poor World Cup campaign (we were in the group of death of Italy, Copa America champions Uruguay and an impressive Costa Rica) but at least give them the credit that they are going out and beating the teams put in front of them. We're doing much better than the Netherlands!

100% record in a pizz poor group means nothing to me, seen it all before. I honestly have found more interest following the Celtic nations through these qualifiers, they have tougher groups and play with passion it really means something to them while England just go through the motions.

Support for England at games and on forums is not as good as these teams enjoy which doesn't help, you are a classic example. As has already been stated, England do not pick their group opposition and they can only try and qualify by beating the teams in front of them. However, it's fashionable it seems for some so called England fans to bash the team and the manager even when they they are achieving what is expected of them irrespective of the quality of the opposition. Perhaps now that Wales are the big fish in the pond they will get more favourable group opposition in future tournaments? Although, i'm pretty sure that if they do, their fans will still not bad mouth them at every opportunity and support them to the hilt.
Well done Wales on a great qualifying campaign and well done to Roy and the England lads for doing what you were supposed to do, funny, had England failed to qualify or even lost one or more of their qualifying group games they would have been savaged if they win every game they are rubbish and the group was too easy?
