Anyone else think the 11 that finished the game and the formation 4-4-2 was so much better than the starting 11 and 4-2-3-1 ? Played further up the park and were more solid looking.
Why was Anya and Ritchie on the bench ? Two good quality premiership players.
Anyone any idea why Forrest got a starting jersey? Totally empty jersey. Mulgrew useless again.
Was always gonna be a big ask to get something out that game. Germany are class. But give yourself the best possible chance by starting with your best 11

"Another decent effort from Scotland but Germany should really have won by more than just a single goal. I"
How?
They got lucky with their first, just as lucky with their second.
Didn't carve us open all night to the point last gasp to save us conceding another.
Aye, they had possession and the better chances (which were crap) and we were sheeite, but it's surely got to come together one night for us. As blood and thunder as we were/are, we are due a decent performance from start to finish and the result it deserves.
Might be "naive" in some quarters but I think it's nothing less than we deserve and nothing less than we should be hoping for, maybe even expecting.
We're limited but we have a great chance at pinching 3rd.
Ireland lose their next two (well within the realms of possibility) and all we need is a on e in a lifetime performance against Poland, at home, to a packed Hampden crowd.
Start believing ya pessimistic kants.

What I mean is..they had more of the ball, but didn't carve us open. Their goals were more down to fluke and poor defending than their skill.
Our Euro 2016 destiny is in our own hands.
Beat Poland and all bets are off.

No it's not. Ireland 4 points ahead of us with two games to play. How's is at that our own hands ? If Ireland win one of their last two games then they proceed
Incidental I haven no agenda against agains WGS. He's the best manager we've had in ages. But he's not immune to criticism. And his main flaw is his picking of certain players because they play for Celtic. Not about form or ability. How else can anyone explain the continued selection of an unfit and out of form Brown. A useless Mulgrew and an empty jersey in Forrest ..at the expense of better players ? I happen to like Strachan but I think like all managers he needs to separate any relationship he formed with players when at club level. So often before we've seen it with other managers. Some players are always there irrespective of form or results. It does the player, team and the fans no help to do this. We need to have 11 players at their best every game. Can't afford to carry passengers

Has it been reported Brown is carrying am injury? Or just because he was subbed in the last Celtic game after a knock people are assuming it?
I agree Forrest was rubbish though.

Carrying an injury or not Brown is just not good enough I lost count of the how often he gave the ball away.
Mulgrew is just awful. I'm also not really a fan of Hutton.
Scotland are about four players short of having a good wee team.

Aye.. Fletcher, Morrison, Anya, Hutton, Naismith. All good Celtic men esc
Admit it.. you hate the fact Strachan is our manager.
There's not a chance Ireland will pick up a point in their last two games btw.

Types cal cekric fan response !
Anyone questions a Celtic players performance or selection then it must be pyoor bigoted .
So no I won't admit I hate Strachan. Because I don't. I like his footballing philosophy and how his teams play the game.
I think he has a blinkered selection policy. If you want to believe otherwise then that's your problem
Incidently I wouldn't have Hutton anywhere near a Scotland jersey either. Ball watcher and total liability. Fletcher is a lazy waste of space
Naismith actually is a good player. No problems with him.
You know we've seen this many times before...with Craig Brown it was the perpetual selection of Christian daily. With Andy Roxburght it was the likes of Stewart McKimmie...
Strachan has his favorites. But bring a good coach is not about having favouritesm you need to see beyond that. No one could ever argue that Anya and Ritchie for example are not far superior to Forrest.
Well maybe except you

I wouldn't be overly critical of anyone last night. Germany toyed with us at times but we kept at it and put everything into the match. I actually thought Brown and Morrison were pretty decent considering how poor they were in Friday. Mulgrew and Fletcher are the only ones last night I would slightly criticise. However Mulgre IMO is not a full back at this level he just doesn't have the pace. Can't really blame him for being picked though, and he certainly tried his heart out. Fletcher was poor again though. Didn't close down enough and touch was poor. Martin did more in ten minutes than Fletcher in two games and Martin is hardly Messi.
Friday the one truly shocking performance might have ended it for us but I'll be optimistic until it's done.
