Laudrup,
Despite all the doom and gloom it's still all to play for.
We were atrocious in the first half. Really bad. We're going to have to find a level we haven't seen in years to get out of this group. Also, we could possibly do Scotland a wee favour.. We owe you one for McKay back in '87.

It'd be cräp if both teams just fizzled out. These are the times we expect our nation teams to step up. Ireland are too much like Celtic in that respect - so i'm a fully fledged football pessimist.
