Long shot

Hey lads, not posted since last February but stalked you all ever since....work too busy etc etc!

Anyway, a real long shot here but does anyone have any tickets for the England v Uruguay RWC match on 10 October they want to get rid of?
Any section, need 3 or 4 together.

Can't get through to the ticket office...."you are 27th in the queue" argh.....I know it's sold out (apart from CatA tickets at £250 each!!) but was wondering whether they were going to release any of the new stand as it's not listed on the RWC website as for sale....and if not why not!?!?!?

Anyway, if any of you can help I'd appreciate it :D

Rugby?

I respect Rugby players but cannot stand the way Rugby fans think they are superior to Football fans.

They remind of real ale snobs who look down their nose at you if you order a Heineken.

Probably because they leave the violence on the pitch and not in the stands. Fans don't have to be separated, any foul language in the crowd is usually met with the phrase "Ladies present" and banter is good natured. A bit like it was when I first started going to boundary park and the kippax. Like Rugby and have played both codes (one under a pseudonym because if you played league it was an automatic lifetime ban).
Now Vic if your talking about what Carling called old farts then I 100% agree with you and the nearer Twickers the worse they get. However if your talking about Sharks fans they approach the football / rugby as a bit of banter in my experience

It's good to watch a bit of ruggers from time to time....especially when there's no footie being played....
AND England are playing right in your own back yard!
Now cricket on the other hand.....zzzzzzz

there we will have to disagree Alan...nothing like a 5 day test match you can keep the T20. That's a bit like having the penalty shootout instead of the match, exciting in its own way but its not the old jiminy I know.

Are there any other games being played at the Etihad?

No just the one Boris. United pulled out after first agreeing to have a game there.
