So I'm off to Stratford Westfield this evening for the hard sell on next year's season ticket.

I am looking at that stadium right now. Gutted you are leaving Green street to be honest. I love old grounds. Visited the Boleyn a couple of times in the 80/90's and loved the atmosphere.

20% of the full price for next season. The tickets are (slightly) cheaper though, but of course they will be trying to talk us into upgrading. Four of us are moving as a group.

So many good things about the Boleyn, but the transport links are insufficient with the current capacity, so even if there was space around the ground we couldn't expand without moving.
As for my expectations, I combine hope and cynicism in about equal measure.

Understandable. I cycle home past the Boleyn most nights and that road is mental now. Far too many shops and local businesses cluttering it up. The whole area has changed since the 80/90's

Just left them, they are theme bars NOT pubs.
I am aware that makes me sound like a sad old git.
