Anyone else bored of Redknapp?

Most people would agree playing a centre midfield of Modric and Kranjcar was suicidal. In addition, he is making the same mistake as last season and that changing his striker every game.

I never wanted Harry at Spurs and made no secret of it. He did us a good turn by getting us out of a mess. OK.

BUT Harry has always been more interested in himself than football or any club he has managed. The England job seems like his next obvious career target - lots of dosh, lots of media limelight, perfect for him.

What we have needed for a long long time is a long term management solution, a manager who is going to go through thick and thin with the club just like the fans.

These days these sorts of managers are hard to come by in the top flight of football for obvious reasons. But there are still a few out there, we just need one.

Fingers crossed.

Before I read that article I was happy for Harry to continue on the belief 'he's done it before, he can recover us again'.

However now, having agreed with everything that guy had to say, I realise it is soon time to move on.

I lost interest in the national team years ago. I find myself disliking the vast majority of the players and struggle to support them.

In fact, I dislike so much about football nowadays but still renew my season ticket. And hate myself for it!

So when Ramos had got us 2 points in eight games you were happy to stick with him? When do managers ever get given the chance to "stick with clubs" through the lean times?

Excellent article, though. Possibly a bit of cherry-picking on the issue of criticising his transfers (I don't think Harry's been too bad there - yet) but otherwise very fair.

In the article the point is very well made how Harry uses the media to strengthen Harry Redknapp's position and not the club's. I'm afraid that, despite how annoying it is, this is something that Wenger undoubtedly does - puts his players and club first (making himself look like an annoying, lying, myopic so-and-so in the process).

Also true that many of the good things that have happened (the emergence of Bale, The purchase of VDV, the emergence of Sandro) have had nothing to do with Harry. Bale never got a sniff til Benny got injured, likewise it was only injury that gave Sandro a chance.

Perhaps Modric agrees with you all & thats why he wants out ?
