A lot of our fans want Wenger to be more ruthless (and rightly so) but hesitate to show the same ruthlessness.

Cazorla should have been benched over a year ago. Yet, many of our fans still praise him.

Arteta and especially flamini are incapable of playing DM now. I've got nothing against them both, are have always liked their commitment and when in prime and on form they were good players for us. But they are past it. They simply can't cover the required amount of ground, and don't have enough drive. Arteta may be ok at DM against some weaker opposition. But he just doesn't come close to doing the job coq can do.

I'd rather have Ramsey in DM than arteta now. He can't really play their either, but he's is capable of covering the ground required at least. Basically we really badly need cover there. Could possibly do Ramsey and arteta there. But arteta and cazorla will not work.

Unlikely but monreal could do well at dm
