MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
There have been 26 goals scored in the last five league meetings - 21 of them by Liverpool.
The last time the sides met in April 2014, Liverpool won 3-2 at Carrow Road to open up a five-point lead at the top of the Premier League with just three fixtures remaining. Their subsequent results (loss, draw, win), meant they missed out on the title.
Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 10 league matches against Norwich (W9, D1).
No side has scored as many Premier League goals against Norwich City as Liverpool's 39.
Liverpool
Liverpool could lose three Premier League matches in a row under Brendan Rodgers for only the second time. They suffered three straight defeats in November 2014.
They have conceded six goals in their last two league matches, having started the season with three successive clean sheets.
Only Newcastle have scored fewer league goals than Liverpool's three so far in 2015-16.
James Milner has run 62km in the league so far this season, further than any other player.
Liverpool's total of 16 bookings from five games is the highest in the Premier League this season.
Norwich
Norwich's tally of seven points from the opening five matches is their best start to a Premier League season since they had 10 points at the same stage in 1993.
Their players have run a total of 514km so far in 2015-16, the lowest tally in the division.
Wes Hoolahan had provided four goal assists, more than any player in the top flight this season ahead of the weekend's fixtures.
Alexander Tettey has already been booked four times this season. It is the highest tally in the Premier League.

It's a turn of phrase. You're one of the worst moaners on the match threads.

Yes, well done to us for being the better team against newly promoted Norwich.

I think people have the right to point out what they see which at the moment is mainly garbage!

Why did we not started wth this formation at the beginning of the season. This squad is not made for 433.
The performance was good but why has Lallana to do 1000 times a turn before he makes a simple pass.

today shows we should and indeed could have started with attacking football..
I said a few weeks ago that rodgers annual 4-3-3 experiment could cost his job!

With Sturridge back, we can push teams back as defenders always drop off him, this creates space and attacking football works better. Any one of our strikers will work well with Sturridge in my opinion, so I see no reason why we shouldn't set up to be more expansive and attacking now.

I would say ings pace and movement have proven he could have functioned in a two as well with benteke.
we wont know if it could have worked out now. it will be interesting to see where we go from here, i wouldnt be upset if rodgers stayed or went today
