Time to move on

A lot has been said about the Chelsea game but it's time to move on.

We lost to the champions at their home ground. No shame in that. We lost due to indiscipline and some poor performances (Sanchez, Ramsey, Ozil). Whatever Costa did, it was not worth it to react like that. This should make the return game interesting.

I think Arsene has shot himself in the foot badly. The lack of quality depth will ruin our season once again. I think he was right to rest some key players versus Zagreb but the replacements were not good enough. I hope this doesn't lead to him not resting players again.

Not sure how we will cope with a month without Coq. That's a long time. Diildo's (Flamini and Arteta) are just not satisfactory.

We now have a 2 tough games coming up. I would rest players against Spuuuds and have them fresh for Leicester. League cup is just not important after winning FA cup twice.

We will easily make top 4 but can't see us winning anything.

So we probably won't see him until after the next international break in the week we face Bayern

Why can't any arsenal injury just be for two weeks.

Always the minimum 4 weeks which inevitable leafs to 3 months

We have depth. That team should have beat Zagreb but Wenger never rotates slowly. He sticks to his eleven and then throws in a new team suddenly. Rotation only works if you constantly change two or three.

I'm happy to see arteta get a run of games. Im convinced he can do a really good job for us so I want to see if I was right. You won't be able to tell from the odd sub appearance of start.

can you read?. Wasn't talking about Chelsea game at that point, was talking about Zagreb and depth of squad

The same HK.

We have depths enough in our squad. Players must step up on that occasion. The team Wenger send out against Zagreb should be good enough to at least take a point. The red card for Giroud didnt help the case though. We were unlucky there.

Perfectly said, rotation does only work when its 2-3 changes at the very most. These 5-6 changes in a game have almost never worked out well for him yet he continues to do so.

He always sticks to the main 12-13 group of players so when someone who isnt in that group gets a game they look like utter trash as they havent played in god knows how long.

It's ridiculous to judge Arteta on the Zagreb game. He was back after 9 months out and had to play alongside Santi. That would have been a tall order for anyone.

We certainly know for a fact that Arteta is way better in the position than that performance. He's actually good enough to handle most of the teams we play.

The concern is others around him. Arteta can only be sufficient if the teams sorts out the giveaways. I've never seen us this pass sloppy under Wenger. The young agile Coquelin can run enough to plug the holes, Arteta can't.

We have got to hold on to the ball the way we used to or at least somewhere near it. If everyone calms it down and tidies it up on the pitch then Arteta will manage and do a job. But if this giving the ball away at every second pass carries on, he's just not up to the running involved in the cleanup and we'll be left exposed time and again.

Any arsenal fan saying they don't care about Wednesday is no real arsenal fan. Regardless of what cup competition it is the North London derby is always massive. You lose 3 games on a trot then that's not exactly great for you is it so I fully expect wenger to put in a near enough full strength side which gives you no excuses if we do beat you

Either way is a win for the gunners though. We beat you is the obvious win. The not so obvious one is the big winning streak that will ensue (as always) if you beat us.

I'd rather not lose the match but if I'm honest I want us out of the league cup before Christmas. I don't think it's a coincidence we had a good run of results through spring last season when we weren't fixture congested being in all four competitions.

Though we've more depth than recent years, I still don't think we have a squad up to chasing trophies on 4 fronts. So ideally I want to beat spurs this week and go out in the next round to a small club that could use the money more than we could.
