Hard to see that an appeal will be successful even though he was clearly being provoked by the Arsenal defen....player. The club could argue inconsistency after Ivan being kicked and nothing being done but the FA have bowed down to Wenger and taken it deep.
Walsall counts as one of his games and he wasn't going to play anyway so it will in effect be a 2 match ban. Newcastle and Southampton.
Take it on the chin, move on. Humiliating Wenger again was worth it.
No Costa appeal

Chelsea striker Diego Costa has been cast as the pantomime villain in the wake of the Blues' 2-0 victory against Arsenal last weekend, but the Spanish forward has only officially crossed the disciplinary line on six occasions this season.

Beating a 9 man team when your at home, isnt really humilating imo.
Also he may miss these 2 or 3 games but i do think his actions will have implications throughout the season, he's going to be targeted by refs, defenders and maybe opposition fans too, more than usual, because of his antics the other day.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He was targeted before he kicked a ball for us. He came with a warning sign on his back mostly because he isnt attractive enough to be treated fairly. For me he came here and behaved game after game and was t given calls because of his rep. He finally said fck it if im not going to get given what I should then ill take it.

Maybe your right, i haven't seen enough of him to know what he was doing last season, but regardless, he is going to be watched even more closely because of his actions.

Gabriel's flick, was exactly the same as Costa's flick on Ox towards the end of the game as they had bumped into each other.
As for the Hazard pen shout - for me it looked like nothing and after the replays I stand by it. Both players have their arms round eachother so can't give it against one.

It looked like nothing because it was nothing.
Gabriel was ahead of him. He was just the stronger man.

Thats what i thought when i saw it too, he simply outmuscled him to let the ball go out, but he did then put his arm around him, which made it a borderline foul, imo.

Not like Hazard to go down under contact is it.
Oh wait....

you cannot be serious!
Are you talking about his personal appearance? If so I can't think of a time when Peter Beardsley was sent off

Just reading through this thread and I am sorry to say but Chelsea fans are out of touch with reality.
