I know its off topic
But with Trump leading the republican race, and Republican Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn who is a born again Christian, doesn't believe in evolution or global warming and thinks the Universe was created only 6000 years ago in 7 days.
I know our politicians are idiots but they need to go some to beat that
What are the stupidest things you have heard a politician say or believe ??
American politicians

The conservatives have made an absolute mockery of running for Presidency.
Some of them still think Obama was born in Kenya, Trump is running, and leading by miles, there's Fiorina, who was probably the worst CEO in HP's history, is lying about everything shes said, yet nobody calls her out on it. Cruz was born in Canada, but nobody is giving him a hard time about not being born in the U.S., God was brought up in a political debate. Some of them are actually quite frightening.
They all claim to follow the Constitution, but when Kiim Davis, an elected official, refused to give out marriage licenses to gay couples, which is now legal, they said there was a war against Christianity, and she shouldn't have lost her job.

At the Whits House Corespondent's Dinner in like 2011, Obama played a video of his "birth video" for Donald Trump who was in attendance, and he played the clip from Lion King where Simba is getting raised above the guys head
I don't even want to get started on the gun debate. Makes me sick.

An atheist wouldn't stand a chance running for President.
Separation of Church and State doesn't seem to be a thing anymore.
