Blackburn have agreed a £5million fee with Birmingham for defender Scott Dann in a bid to head off competition from ambitious QPR.

Dann, 24, has attracted the interest of a host of clubs with Birmingham"

Banjo, you may need to run your calculations again...

I think, if we have agreed a fee, it'll be more than £5m. Maybe £5m up front plus add-ons.

Thats what i said early on, that some Blackburn forums have said the fee is £5-6M.

I doubted we would sell for that, if this is the case and indeed it does turn out that Johnson and Gardner went for only £9M then that shows how desperate our club really are.

If we are that desperate to offload, that means you can forget seeing players comming in aswell, only a handfull of cheapy wage frees.

if we sell Dann so cheaply then we are in deep guano...

I mean, I dont believe this story that we need to keep selling players to survive but selling Dann for 5M means Pannu doesnt have a clue about the value of our players and he is being Rogered by everyone

We all saw this coming. We let Johnson and Gardner go cheap, so it's no surprise with Dann.

Whilst I think its a ludicrous offer for a player as talented as Dann is I would put nothingf past this joke of a board we have atm.

Weve got to get them out !!

Don't worry about it I've done it many times before. With the news Ridgewell wants out we could find ourselves losing 2 defenders and 2 strikers before the deadline tomorrow. That would be an absolute disaster!

A disaster indeed... plus we are only one place above the relegation zone... what next I wonder

Xpat the only thing that would strike me if Dann was sold for £5M would be the club are that much in debts and they owe HSBC money that they want right away some reports was they wanted £8M by the end of the window.

So if they owe banks X amount that needs paying ASP, then while they may want £10M for Dann if all they are getting is £5M then they would sell to pay off banks as otherwise they simply wont have the money to pay the banks and thats one step closer to Administration.

I worry when Yeung comes of he will not bring good news at all.

But confirm the club are in trouble and plee for investment or say they are looking to get some, because current BIH board can not/will not sustain this club.
