So coqs out for a bit. Wenger has 2 options, club captain arteta or mid week hero flamini. If Flamini stops trying to be a box to box all action player and just sits in and holds, protects the centre backs then he could do the job. Arteta moves the ball better so will probably get the nod against Leicester . My worry is when our defensive players leave the door open for a quick break if I was wenger who ever I picked I would ban them from the final third of the pitch, we have enough attacking players and over lapping full backs to score against Leicester. As flamini confidence Is sky high I would pick him as long as he stays back, defends and gives the ball to santi . Also thought gibbs was superb against spurs and is ready now to fight for a starting place.

To partner Santi it has to be Flamini. Arteta should only play if Ramsey is next to him

How do people even discuss not playing our best player in flamini, guy is a born winner

As long as he stays put and protects. He could extend his career if he manages his performance and doesn't try and be all Hollywood on the pitch ( bit like song tried)

Play Cazorla and Ramsey together.

I'd play both against Leicester. If we have to pick one, then arteta to start and flam to come on later

They both play midweek so not a chance to have both again on Saturday. It will surely be Arteta for 70 minutes alongside Cazorla and then maybe Flamini for the remaining of the game.
I just hope that Gabriel can play because either of them in front of Mert is not ideal.

Ramsey has played as DM before although only rarely as he normally playes alongside a DM when at CM. Ox has done. And in the oast there has been tlk that Chambers could play there (although I think he struggels wth havng to worry about whats hapening behind him as well). And then we have Bielik. And the others already mentioned of course.
So plenty of choices, just none of them particularly good.
