Sadly for Swindon, now is a good time for the Posh to be visiting the County Ground.
With the Posh being in the ascendancy and Swindon in the descendancy and depleted in numbers, now's not the time, however, for us to be complacent. Wounded animals are dangerous.
On the plus side, Posh are in good spirits. I went to the Supporters Trust AGM earlier this week, and was very impressed with Graham Westley, who came up to and returned to London that evening, just to attend. He's changed all the players' diets and the supplements they take and is aiming to get them as fit as possible and running 14km a game, rather than the 11.5km they were running when he joined the club. I think he could make a good Championship manager - here's hoping the Posh team serve up that opportunity this season.

Yes, well.
We had a good first 30 minutes but couldn't score. That at least is some progress by recent standards. After that the result wasn't in doubt. Fortunes change quickly, last season we were going well, now we're in a downward spiral. However we do have some decent players and when we get something like a full complement and a bit of confidence we are capable of doing better. But mid table at best I fear. The Posh however will make the play offs if they continue as they are going now and good luck to them.

Don, with that good first 30 minutes, you're starting to turn things round. Next step is to start scoring goals again, which I hope will happen when you next play.
I hope we can maintain our improved standard of play.
Who knows, both our teams may be up there at the end of the season.
Walsall and the teams immediately beneath them are looking very good, but can they sustain that?

Our next game is at Millwall. I remember going to the (old) Den in the early 70s, an incredibly intimidating place. It would be nice to get something from that but quite a big ask!

Well, we beat them at home in the league, but lost to them away in the JPT.
It will be tough, but if you start scoring again (like we have recently) you stand a chance of a win.
I may be visiting The Den in 2016 as one of my wife's work colleagues is a Millwall fan and can guarantee me safe passage there.

I'm not sure there's any such thing as safe passage there! We drew 2-2, it must have been 1970 or 71. I had great difficulty keeping a quiet when Don Rogers put us 1-0 up with a superb solo goal. Derek Possee scored both of theirs. It was just as well that they got the draw, it really was an evil place in that era. They even had stencils for their National Front graffiti!

Hi Rap, I'm fine thanks and hope you are too.
Town' s form is dismal but having been a supporter for over 50 years I've learnt to take the rough with the smooth. I write a regular 50 years ago feature, I started with the 63/64 season. It' s on:

Lee Angol sure looks like he knows where the net is.
Ok it was a keeper howler but good to have a player who scores tap ins. It's an underrated commodity.
Only trouble will be keeping him in January if he keeps up this scoring rate!
