into another disastrous international qualifying campaign.
For me the campaign hinged on two games, Ireland and Georgia away, those were the two games that if we were going to have a chance of qualifying then we had to take a minimum of 4 points, we didn't, we took one and ultimately that's what's cost us a play off spot at least.
The Ireland game was solely down to the manager, he brought in a left back who to be perfectly honest, looked nothing more than a Sunday amateur player and couldn't pass the ball 5 yards. He also brought in Matt Ritchie who was absolutely anonymous and in doing so he left out probably two of our best players until that point, Andy Robertson and Ikechi Anya.
Now I'm not Anya's biggest fan but he had been excellent up until the Georgia game at home and to drop him was ridiculous but again it goes back to Strachan trying to be too smart for his own good and come up with some wonderful tactical plan instead of sticking with that had served us so well until that point.
The Georgia game was simply down to players not performing and they let the whole country down that night but Strachan didn't change it until it was too late either, I think he brought on Griffiths with 18 minutes to go and Forrest with 15 to go, it was clear as day at half time it wasn't working and he still let it run for a further 25 minutes
It's looking increasingly likely he will stay on which I'm ok with but he MUST, absolutely MUST call time on the following players:
Hutton
D Fletcher
Whittaker
Greer
We have guys like Armstrong, Christie, Shinnie, Walker, Paterson & young Ryan Gauld who need to come into the squad and get a feel of International football, they are technically good enough and age should not be a problem.
It's looking likely we will be the only home nation to not qualify for Euro 2016 and that in itself should dispel the awful myth that we are just unlucky, other teams have ripped up and started again with youth, we need to do the same right now to have any chance of qualifying in the next 5 years.
Anyway, back to club football now and I'm sure we will read about injuries etc. to any of our players.
On a side note, what about Nir Bitton's strike against Cyprus?
Happy Monday to you all.

Jozo was left out of the Croatia Under 21's squad too concentrate on getting fit so he should be fine.
Allan's was a hamstring tear, grade 2 so it's a risky one to rush.

Snoddy is a good lad, bit of a kant in School but he's grown up now and deserves everything he's had in football, he's worked hard for it

Georgiaay was the result that cost you lads. However I could see 1 of Scotland, ROI or Poland slipping up out there.
We now have to navigate the minefield of the play offs.
I would hope for either Bosnia or Denmark being honest seeing as we wont be seeded.
Bit tender here had a few to many watching the game last night.
