I get no one likes Big Sam but to say he had no tactical nous is wrong.
You cannot get a team like Bolton to the top six regularly by shouting "Come on lads" .he competed near the top of the table with tiny funds and crowds.
Probably did as well as BR except for one season.
And lumping Clough in there with him is beyond believe. He is up there with Sir Bob and Sir Alec.

You cant compare the great Clough with this dinosaur Allardyce.
