All joking aside, what a whirlwind 12 hours for Aberdeen, talk of the above and McInness being in frame to take up the Scotland hot seat will surely have a negative impact on them.
The club issuing a statement seemed rather odd at the time but then I got thinking about the "flurry of bets" placed on McInness for the Scotland job and the subsequent suspension of betting by Ladbrokes. Everyone knows there is no smoke without fire so something somewhere has happened and it's not been caused by a fake twitter account stating that he was to be sacked because he allegedly bo-ragged a players wife.
All this has probably done is shine a little more spotlight on the Dons for their massive game tomorrow night away to Ross County. I believe 5 or 6 of the Aberdeen players have been away on International duty either for the senior side or the Under 21s of their respective country whilst Ross County have had 13 days to rest up and get some work done on the training ground.
In other news GMS has admitted his form hasn't been up to standard recently and is eager to get back to his best and get in the Celtic starting 11. I must admit, I've been very very disappointed with him this season, last year and in pre season he looked like an outstanding bit of business for £250,000 but he's not had one single decent competitive game yet and that has to change rapidly as James Forrest is probably in the best form he's been in since he first burst on to the scene.

I meant young old firm players goin out on loan - can't think of any that have gone on to be a top player like some are suggesting about Henderson.

Aye, theres been a couple - but when you think how many players we've sent out on loan, the return is hardly great is it?
In fact - both Rangers and Celtic don't enough credit for producing numerous blindingly average players for small Scottish teams.
