Team news to follow:
LFC team: Mignolet, Clyne, Skrtel, Sakho, Moreno, Can, Lucas, Milner, Lallana, Coutinho, Origi

THFC team: Lloris (c), Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose; Alli, Dembele; Chadli, Eriksen, Lamela, Kane.
Head-to-head
Victory would see Liverpool record six consecutive league wins against Tottenham for the first time in their history.
The Reds have scored a total of 18 goals and conceded just four in the last five meetings.
They have also scored eight unanswered goals on their last two trips to White Hart Lane, winning 5-0 in 2013 and 3-0 last season.
Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham have the joint best defensive record in the division, conceding seven goals.
They are the only Premier League team unbeaten since the opening weekend (W3, D4).
Spurs have received 24 yellow cards in this season's top flight - more than any other side.
Christian Eriksen has scored six direct free-kicks in the Premier League since his debut in September 2013 - more than any other player.
Liverpool
The Reds have won one of their last nine Premier League away games (D4, L4). That was their victory at Stoke on the opening weekend of the season.
Their last eight league and cup goals have been scored by English players.
Liverpool have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last eight matches in all competitions.

Skrtel plays best when teams sit slightly deeper - he'd work well somewhere like Chelsea. High line, high pressing he struggles
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This. Hopefully he's replaced soon. Gutted that Gomez is out for the season, reckon he'd have partnered Sakho
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I believe he could have been and have been saying the same. Not at first but ultimately I think he could have got ahead of the rest the competition.
I do wonder if Klopp and his men may have a good look at Lovren on the right side to partner Sahko.

Spurs fan in peace.
Not the greatest game with both teams missing lots of players. Probably the right result although we had a few more chances.
With Chelsea floundering and United and Arsenal not looking anything special maybe this is the year Spurs or Liverpool could sneak in the top four.

Klopp on Origi: "I wanted to take him to Dortmund when LFC bought him. Very good player - fast, good technique, we will have fun with him"
