What is GTA V?

Got in both PS3 and PS4 don't really see the difference

I think it was timed to maximise profits, it was always going to sell big and the effort needed to put it on next gen made financial sense.

There are a lot of people I'm sure bought it again on the next gen machines though, but it has enough improvement to be called a legitimate PS4 game.

But surely that would just make it the ps4 version rather than a remaster? You wouldn't call Fifa, Destiny or Rise of the Tomb Raider a remaster though would you?

I think I would call any game who's gameplay hasn't changed a remaster, it is essentally a previous game with some graphical/ framerate improvements.

It's a PS4 version seeing as it has a new view mode and a hell of a lot more features

So the PC version of GTA v is a remastered remaster than?

If it's already been released on that platform it would be a remaster, thats how I would see it.

I do wonder if Sony/Microsoft threw a little incentive towards Rockstar to make the next-gen version in order to boost their somewhat sparse library.

Either way, it's pretty poor form that they're cutting the last-gen version out of the most recent update.

They have done pretty much all they can on last-gen versions, hence PS3 and 360 are not getting new stuff such as the editor, upcoming Lowriders update and there are gameplay limitations (e.g. T20 spoiler doesn't actually have an effect on PS3, although they could probably fix that )
