A strong umpire would have stopped the slow rates, remember Steve Bucknor against that lot in 2000, stood up to them.. Thorpe did it for us that day.

Rules are rules. Get over it.
If you wanted to win the game then the batsman should have cleared the ropes against 2 very average spin bowlers.

If anything it's justice for what happened in Karachi back in 2000. The light that evening was awful and so bad yet they continue play and England won the match. Didn't seen anyone moaning then!

Total attendance was about 100 including the players, support staff, and the camels. How much would the attendance fall if they started the game at 8am?
