Scouse Nicht English

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CRhgfm-VAAAM_Lk.jpg

What a weird banner, granted they could do with taking a TEFL course before they go about the country nocturnally 'visiting' country manors or peddling their powdery wares but even I know Liverpool is in England.
I understand civic pride, but does any other EPL club fan (apart from Swansea's obviously ) deny being English. why would they think this? And what do you think of this?

Oh right some company trying to sell shirts prints that and so it must represent the view of every one of the millions.....AND MILLIONS....of United fans?

Besides which it seems to be specifying to within a few miles where the wearer is from, not saying that the wearer isn't English.

Not stated that at all. I have merely stated that the sentiment of both messages are near as dammit the same.
Does the banner state that it's message represents all scousers? No, of course it doesn't.
It represents a parochial view of a few, as does the t-shirt.
Now back to your smiley art please young man.

United > England

I really don't see any great difference between that statement that I've seen on t-shirts, and the LFC banner stating scouse not English.

You seriously DON'T understand the difference between "greater than" and "not a part of"?

This a popular t-shirt from a supporters company smiley art boy

And a couple of scousers at the game are representative of all scousers?

We don't have a diverse economy thanks to Maggie, all our eggs are in one basket so when the banks crashed...
Not defending Labour just pointing the finger of blame at Her.

She may have accelerated things but all heavy manufacturing (and nearly all manufacturing in general) was going to Asia regardless.
