Burnley have found rich pickings against the Reds over the past few years, when we have both been in the same division, that is.
Forest have to be the underdogs for tonights game and if the team starts off again in the same manor as Friday night, all Forest fans could be in for a torturous uncomfortable evening.
On a more positive note, Jack Hobbs subsituition late on in the game was tactical and both Hobbs and Wilson should be starting tonight, also Eric Lichaj returns after a one match suspension. Unfortunately Osborn is still injured and we will miss his pace and energy driving forward in midfield.
Perhaps Jonny Williams will start or come on in the second half from the bench. Still no word on Liam Trotter, looks like he's returned to Bolton, before ever getting here grrrrrrrr.
Burnley will be without George Boyd injured and I believe they sold Danny Inngs over the summer, however he has been replaced by the £9M signing of Andre Gray. Gray scored both goals in Burnley's two nil win over Bolton.
Let us pray for a better result tonight and that Dorus de Vries good form continues. We need a result.

I guess the reason I was commenting on your posts Rev is that you seem to be one of the main posters on here who seems to be quite critical of the manager and team. That's perfectly fine, I am not criticising that. I tend to read most posts in here without commenting.
I just notice that the main difference with posters is their expectations for the club. You say You want us to get back to "where I believe we belong". And I guess that's the same for all of us. I think the reason we will always differ (and others as well) is that I think we probably are where we belong. It doesn't mean I want us to do better any less than you. It just means I can better accept drawing at home to Burnley or dips in form. I think there are things you need to have in place to be able to get above "where we belong" . I just don't believe we have them at the moment. Some of those things are having great players or a great manager, that can elevate you above your station. I don't see that we can attain these in our current situation. The other things that elevate you are stability, building on progress, giving a decent manager time to build, allowing some failure and learning from it, investing in youth etc. I don't think we have all I these either but I do think we can attain them. I do believe DF is a decent manager and doing a good job. He isn't a great manager and will Not take us up on his ability alone. I believe we can get some stability and build on our progress and learn from mistakes. But for that we have to stop making the same mistakes over and over again (i.e. Stop sacking managers). If we want to one day be able to employ a great manager we have to be able to demonstrate that we can allow them to show their potential. At the moment no decent manager would touch us. So we need to build to be able to get where we all want to be.
That's the difference between us all I guess. So it's not personal, you just appear to be the main advocate of a policy that is the polar opposite if what I would like to see the club be. But that's ok and so is disagreeing about it isn't it?

You need stability but the guy at the top can't concentrate on anything for longer than 5 seconds at a time.
Getting rid of him is your only way forward.

Saw the highlights and heard Lichaj got a yellow for celebrating his goal. Couldn't see how that was justified. Didnt jump into the crowd or goad the away support? McClean gets a warning for celebrating jn front of the Sunderland fans on Saturday and Lichaj gets a yellow on his slate that he has just wiped clean? Unfair!!

Can we have advanced warning of the FL's intention to appoint Attwell as ref for a Forest match next time. Get well prepared for bizarre and inconsistent decisions.

My second game of the season and they're going to put on a show, including a first CG goal for Tyler Walker.
