Round 12: Bolton vs bBirmingham

So a disappointing loss to Burnley at the weekend leaves us rock bottom of the league.

I find it hard to be annoyed at Lennon for this compared to my willingness to blame Dougie when we were in the same situation a year ago.

I'm being at least a little fickle as part of it is based on Lennon just being far more likable! However his signings have been better, as have his tactics (for the most part) and he has been unfortunate with injuries and the squad he has inherited. Basically he's doing everything he can and now the players need to step up their performances and the board need to find some money from somewhere to get in a striker.

Hopefully the fact we have a couple of home games now should help the points tally as our record at home under Lennon has been on the whole very good.

Team News

Bolton will wait on midfielder Jay Spearing after boss Neil Lennon said his leg injury is likely to be nerve damage rather than a break.

Defender Dean Moxey (toe) will be assessed but forward Zach Clough (shoulder) misses out.

Birmingham winger Demarai Gray is fit after being replaced against QPR.

Midfielder David Cotterill is out with a hamstring injury but may feature against Hull on Saturday, as could defender Neal Eardley.

Predictions

1-0 Mark Davies with the only goal.
