Last weekend we saw one of the most anticipated fights of the final quarter of 2015 in GGG vs Lemieux. The fight itself turned out to be a one sided affair but reports are now coming out indicating that the PPV figure of that event was only 150,000. If this is true then it is very damaging to GGG and Goldenboy promotions. GGG is considered one of the best fighters out there in boxing and his fan friendly style has endeared him to many fans but despite being the best middlweight on the planet he continues to fail in PPV. This just goes to show you why being a PPV star doesn't necessarily mean that you have to be the best fighter out there. Team GGG must be worried that GGG alone cannot draw the sorts of numbers that other fighters can despite being easily within the top 5 pound for pound fighters in the world. Of course a large proportion has to do with the fighters he is facing but at this point GGG alone should be able to draw numbers but he is failing.

No idea how someone can blame cloud he's got the top 3 highest Ppv numbers ever regardless of why the paid to watch they still paid! Pacman should be the one taking all the blame for Maypac being so 1 sided

Sounds like poor promotion to me.
Pretty sure I heard there was a couple of other big sporting events on the day of the fight which might explain it a bit?
