We are guff. Absolutely guff.
If anyone was in any doubt about how bad we are then that should be any illusions dispelled.
I don't care about yesterday. We don't win in Glasgow against Celtic with the best teams we've had over the last 20 years and we weren't going to win yesterday. However it's disappointing to see that some of the players had the same attitude and clearly didn't care about winning either.
What encourages me was Mixu's response to that performance. He didn't choose his words carefully and he even dropped the F bomb in his Arabzone interview. By all accounts the players got it significantly worse in the dressing room.
They've been told now - it's now Mixu's job to bring those boys back up because they are utterly devoid of confidence. He needs to start lifting them, trying to give the likes of Fraser their belief back. That's not an easy job.
I said yesterday on here that we need four players to bring us up to a level that can be competitive - one of those players is Paton. He might not be the best player in the world but at least he's got some fight about them. That midfield we had yesterday had nothing and they don't make a tackle.
We need a keeper. We need a commanding centre half and dear god we need pace going forward. We are slow, we are ponderous and we have no fighting spirit. That's a recipe for relegation right there.
I'm deeply concerned and somehow we need to stay in touch until January where we need the chairman to put his hand in his pocket again and give Mixu funds - and let's not forget that the chairman has already frittered away our budget by giving it to Jackie in the last two windows. Giving Jackie the summer window may go down as one of the worst decisions in the clubs history.
I'm deeply concerned at where we are and I don't see where the next result is coming from. But as fans we need to stay behind the manager and the players and give them more backing than we have at recent games at Tannadice, starting this weekend against County.
Mon the Terrors.

I've stopped criticising Ambrose, no point when you know he will still make his usual gaffs regardless of the opposition.

Hopefully Mixu can get the team fit as well as confident. The team is severely lacking in two of the most basic areas.

Hobo You could barely get over the halfway line yesterday. I've said before, the boy Fraser looks a talent but he's nowhere near fit enough.
Telfer looks like a lost wee boy too. I thought he was meant to be good

Hobo
You've got to assume Mixu is still in the assessment stage with the squad. It'll take weeks to see an increase in fitness, especially with a midweek game this week.
Confidence is going to be the big challenge. The only way to really resolve that is to get wins and climb the table.

Some difficult fixtures coming up for you too

They're all difficult when you're bottom of the league mate, but yeah, no "winnable" games on the horizon.

When is the next derby?

I just hope McNamara hasn't instilled a lazy mentality in them, otherwise they could rebel when big mean ol' Mixu tries to get them into shape.
The younger players are more likely to enjoy their skive off and not having to bother with tedious fitness work - just turn up for training and enjoy the life of a professional footballer. Probably why Rankin and McGowan have been relative stand-outs this season - they're old enough and professional enough to keep themselves fit.

The New Year derby.
Think it might be on the 2nd actually. Not sure.
