As an aside to competitiongate, I thought I would post a football-related article. Novel I know!
Wolves look to sign Mike Williamson as an emergency loan in view of our injury crisis. Can't get in Newcastle's team but deemed good enough for us apparently.
Any better than a centre back that we recently sold for two and six and a packet of sugar bonbons?
Still, there's no way that our manager could have predicted an injury crisis of this magnitude. He would leave this predicting lark to the 20,000 fans who pretty much universally said it would happen.
At 31, Williamson doesn't fit our mould of young and useless as he's too old.

Williamson to the rescue.

Have said before that you could take 50-60 players from prem teams and swap them with 50-60 champo players and it wouldn't make a blond bit of difference.

Most footballers are actually pretty shiîte. Only one in two to three hundred have outrageous natural talent - add discipline to that and you have a top player.
The rest get away with murder.
SKY hype has brainwashed people into thinking otherwise. Take your average Liverpool regular over the last twenty years and compare him to the average Liverpool player from 1977-83 and realise how terribly poor the skill level is today.
Yet even the likes of Karl Henry earn more in a year than Rush, Dalglish, Hansen earned in their entire careers as players.

He is from Asore Park so he deserves a break !

£5m lifetime earnings after tax for being able to pass the ball sideways and end the odd career here and there.
I bet the useless clot who is the subject of this thread has made even more than that.
Thousands upon thousands of Williamson's have conned billions out of millions.
Don't encourage them - stick to the radio. That'll learn 'em.

And Williamson walks straight into the first team - no doubt to justify his ridiculous wages.
Little wonder that there is grave unrest amongst those who got us out of League One.

Of course he walks straight into the team. There's no one else. They're all crocked that's why Mr Jackass recruited him.

With Williamson now extending his loan into January... http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/2015/11/17/wolves-extend-mike-williamsons-loan/ .......and the two defenders Jackett had such faith in when the decision to sell Stearman was made close to a return... http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/2015/11/18/saturday-comes-too-soon-for-injured-wolves-duo/ ...will Jackett be tempted to bring either back into the starting XI meaning we are paying Premier League wages for a bench warmer? Or will he suddenly be less concerned at the opportunities our young players get to start?
