Yep another 2 games before the international break to do well.

Mike London, I don't think others suggestions were bad, but considering this is Joel's speciality, it was wise to throw him in and let him get some game time.

Up to now there are only 2 things we can really judge JC's Arsenal career on.
1 - His very rare opportunities to start and his fleeting sub appearances.

2- Wengers reluctance to play him.

As I have said before, I think JC has enough about him to be useful to us. Not every player in the squad can be world class, even Barca and Real don't have that.

I thought he done very well, arguably as good as any performance Ramsey has delivered for us from the right wing this year.

Yeah, to be fair, the other suggestions aren't that bad, it's just the same people kept insisting Joel is utter useless without letting him have a fair crack at it, and were placing the likes of Gibbs ahead. If there was ever a time to give him a chance it's now. Mind you, I dont think he's good enough to keep the position either, but he deserves this opportunity at least.

Joel's defensive play was very good, much better than Ox. The goal must give him loads of confidence. Decent player.

Its not knee jerk to suggest Joel could actually do a very good job for us. He was extremely productive today despite playing ok-ish. It wasnt a stunning performance at all but he still did so much. I can imagine him being one hell of a player when he's on form with a few games under his belt

He did what was needed and kept the balance to our side.

Its only one game, but based on that game I wouldnt be worried to see him coming in at all
