Was a little shaky at times and shows he has more to learn about the physical aspect of the English game. But with Stones as the more experienced CB and a stand in LB after Oviedo left the pitch it was an okay performance.
Still room to improve

The 6-2 scoreline flattered us. Deulofeu (except for his dive),Koné and Lukaku had a great game,Stones and Coleman looked iffy.

He was booked today and at Barnsley I believe.
He needs that kicking out of him, he has so much talent he doesn't have to do that. It's the Spanish league in him I'm afraid

Coleman only just made the game after suffering a gastric complaint consequently his game suffered. Stones was pulled wide to cover and himself was beaten for pace and posession several times. As a result,Mori was stretched and with Galloway becoming over adventurous at times,he was left exposed.
I like the player and feel he will blossom into an excellent defender for us.One thing yesterday showed however was just how well Jags has been playing this season and his presence and leadership qualities will be sorely missed.
An entertaining game with a strangely subdued atmosphere with some great goals, added to a tendency to over-egg the pudding with those rapid fire short passing bursts which ,whilst looking attractive, usually fizzle out without any real productive ending.
A nice few games to come should help our cause if Martinez allows the team to play with the same attacking spirit that they showed, particularly in the second half of the game.
