The technical development of Cyrus has meant, effectively, we have a new £5m signing but with no settling in period.
And I think this will happen with several more players at Derby.
Any opinions who might these be?

Yman for Ince with Ince as an impact sub if needed later in the game.
The midfielders have to hold onto the position. If you're on the pitch then it's your place to keep. Plenty of competition so long as they all remain motivated and not spit heir dummies out. Shipping Ward off to Forest was probably the best move of the summer.

Cant make out whether Cyrus is the new Irish Pele or Irish Wanchope, I do no he plays a lot better when Ince is not the winger in front of him.
The lad gets great support from both Russell or Y man and it show in his confidence. Keep Y man in the team, bring Ince on from the bench.
As for midfield, who cares we probably have the top 5, 6 when Will is back, midfielders in the championship and can play either 3 from five and we would be comfortable.

Who replaces Thorne tomorrow, Baird, Hanson or Hendrick? I would go with Hanson.

Hendrick with Johnson playing in Thorns role would be my preference.
He'll go with Baird though Im sure.

Usual back five. Plus Johnson, Hendrick, Hanson.
Plus Martin, Russell and Y-mann.
Ince, Best and Baird as subs depending on circumstances.
