I am 100% convinced we will win the league. Only competition is Man City and they are struggling (Norwich ). Man Utd can't even score a goal . We are putting 3 or 4 goals past teams every week and have one of the best defences in the league.
Our record in big games is also much better. This is our year. No one will be able to stop us.
The only question is whether we will win it in March or April. I think March if we get a top striker in January.

You haven't even been 1st outright this season like Man Utd

I don't think certain people will accept Coquelins quality just because of the way he came to our first team.
They usually say he is a red card waiting to happen (very much Keane or Vieira I guess. Although he averages less than 1 foul a game so far this season!)
They say he is rubbish in possesion and gives the ball away too much (93% passing accuracy in the PL)
The improvement of our team, and individuals in that team, can all be linked to our change in style of play, and a lot of that comes from playing Coquelin as a DM.

Still reading the papers from 4 years ago I see? **
No - Its painfully obvious, you dont need to read a paper
Quite a touchy defensive bunch these gooners eh
Like I said bookmark the article and we will see in a few months

How is it painfully obvious? Best defensive record in the league isn't really evidence you are looking for when trying to prove a weak spine.
In fact we have been solid in the PL ever since we made changes to our style, including bringing in Coquelin.

Hearing a lot of cliches from yeah yeah about our defence/spine, yet he never seems to answer the specifics.
Our defensive record last season saw us concede just 4 goals more than the champions. Chelsea and Southampton the only 2 teams who conceded less than us. And that is with half a season without a DM, but with Monreal (LB), Debuchy (RB) and Chambers (inexperienced and all PL appearances were at RB before) playing at CB.
Since then, not only has Coquelin come in but Gabriel has strengthened the options at the back.
Since the turn of the year we have the best defensive record in the league - and with notable changes made by us to make that happen. But lets ignore that, yeah?

Arsenal of course have a chance of winning the league. But how often does this happen, Arsenal smash teams first half of the season, go missing in the 2nd half. It's all talk at the moment, you seem pretty confident for a team who hasn't won the title in over 10 years.

Not that often over the last 10 years, Benny.
Usually we find ourselves well off the pace and chasing 13 point gaps just to get top 4.
I would also say there has been a lot of change in the last couple of years, since we were able to renegotiate sponsorship deals and the likes.
First of all we have been able to sign top class players.
Then, in the even more recent past, we have stumbled on a far more effective style of play.
Combining the two has moved us on a level.
I personally think Manchester City are the favourites. We need far more luck in terms of injuries than we have had in the past, and I still think we have a few weaknesses in our squad depth (especially when compared to City) that will be exposed if the wrong person gets injured.
But some of the comments in this thread about Arsenal don't really sit comfortably with the truth of now.

Well as said I think Arsenal are very close. You add Ozil and Sanchez to a good squad and you've given yourself a chance.
It's the mentality that would worry me just because as a group they've not got over the line league wise. The loss to Chelsea I though was ominous in that regard to.
I don't think Arsenal have three of the best six centre backs in the league though and although I seemingly rate Giroud more than half the actual Arsenal fans on here I think City and even Liverpool have better strikers. Sanchez mitigates that somewhat though and as a team they score plenty.

Think that was a bit of a WUM, tbh.

Not sure it is fair to use that game, tbh. The decision that was later reversed, not to send off Costa was key in that game. It swung from what should have been us v 10 to Chelsea v 10. Their first goal came from a free kick in which Gabriel would have been key in helping us defend.
Chelsea is also a bogey team for us (under Mourinho esp.) and all champions have that sort of team (City have Sunderland ).
A striker is what could prove the difference for us negatively (rather than the defensive side to the game).

To the gunner who said all scousers should be cheering for arsenal to break the city/united/chelsea axis...
No way buddy....
All gunner , chelsea, and spurs fans were literally crying for city to win the league against us 2 years ago..
But this is your best chance to win the title in years
