Well done lads

Last night's performance gave a massive lift to everyone connected with Leeds United and it was great to see the vast majority of the crowd stay behind to cheer them off the pitch.

Here are my player ratings:

7 Silvestri - Brillant defensive work gave him little to do.
8 Wootton - I'm not a fan of him at RB, but he played really well.
8 Bellusci - His best performance for Leeds so far.
9 Cooper - Absolutely fantastic. Leave him as captain for me.
8 Berardi - Solid reliable and consistent. Worth his weight in gold.
8 Murphy - Brillant defensive midfield work, his best game for Leeds.
7 Cook - Another solid performance and good link up play with Mowatt.
7 Mowatt - Good energy and a superb goal.
7 Dallas - One of our best contributors in recent weeks and deserves a
goal soon.
6 Antenucci - Still not back to his best but worked hard.
6 Wood - He must have been stung by the sarcastic cheers when he won a ball in the air last Thursday because he really tried to contribute more.

Evans is getting the best he can from these lads and it will be hard to pick a different 11 for Saturday.

I'll also add that again, as has been the case for the past 10/11 months that Scott Wootton played very well and doesn't deserve the stick he gets

Lewis Cook is an unbelievable player and he impresses me more each week with his turns of pace and how he gets away from players....but he needs to work on his final ball, too often it goes to the opposition

Really good point regarding Wooton. He has been solid performer for a while now. Great asset to have int he squad. the amount of stick he gets is completely unjust.

6 seems a bit harsh for Ant - though he did a great job last night. Harassed everything. Defenders hate it when pressure put on them, as they typically don't have the skills to be comfortable on the ball/take a player on....love it hen we press from the top - rattles defenders and will always force errors in this league.

Also though Beradi was different class again. Turning into a right gem. Consistently performing.

Murphy been useless this season

But nobody can say Murphy didn't pass well last night

Unless they didn't go

He is unable to jump properly, he goes up for headers about 2 seconds too early and he's already on the way down when the ball reached him. You would've thought this would be something he would've worked on long before now
------------------

My theory is, he does this because he doesn't want to get hurt

Antenucci has a shocking sense of movement. Often ends up running in the wrong direction. He makes a run, a player will pick him out and then he stops. He's insanely greedy, we'll pretend the goal scored clause in his contract has nothing to do with that. If he has a chance to shoot and there's a 1% chance it'll go in, but can pass and give somebody an open goal, he'll shoot.

6s for Antenucci and Wood is appalling judgement. Wood was pressurising their defenders all game, and actually running.

Antenucci is a nightmare for defenders yo deal with, was pivotal for our goal and just in general caused them problems all games

Cook was also at least an 8, getting around everywhere on the pitch, based I've seen him play in ages.

Pro is right about Antenucci, yes he scores goals but he also concedes a lot of chances because of his greed. The negative balances out the positive and you end up with a middle of the road player.

Everyone at Bolton away saw him refuse to give a player an open goal and instead take a shot from practically on the goal-line about 8 yards out.

Antenucci isn't a selfish player in that he creates space for his teammates. Yesterday we pressed them high and that's part of the reason they had so few clear chances

Wootton defends well when we're not being hit on the break, far too slow for RB.

The whole team went for it, we had 3 players chasing down at times, which is what you want, but they need training on doing it properly.

Antenucci I thought look resilient and part of the reason why Mowatt found space for his goal.

If happily watch that performance every week, Cardiff looked solid and we'll play less tight games.
