I know Toby and Dier have taken all the plaudits this season for being our start performer, yet how good has Walker been!!
He is an asset going forward, providing width, and his defensive display just keeps getting better and better. People seem reluctant to give him the praise he deserves, and are quick to get on his back but he has been outstanding and suits a Poch system perfectly.
This article echo's my feelings and says it far more eloquently than I ever could:

problem i have with walker is that he could be having the game of his life, but is prone to a brain fart at any given moment.

"Playing in the best defensive side in the Premier League at the moment, having gone undefeated since the opening day of the season..."
Can't believe they're describing Tottenham here

They aren't describing Tottenham, ASF.
We've conceded 9
Arsenal and United just 8

Poch is getting the best out of so many players. Walker's the best he's been since he won the YPOTY.

To be fair to Walker, the only time he has looked really ropey was under AVB - he was quality for Harry, for Villa and QPR.
Since then he's never been fit enough consistently, now he is he is back to top form
