Think we all can agree that Lucas has been in outstanding form this season.
Now thinking ahead on the City game, do you risk Lucas for the Palace game as he is on 4 yellow cards and one more means he will miss the City game.
For us to get anything from City, we would need Lucas protecting the Back 4.

Of course you play Lucas, however i dont think he's a must vs city.
We could easily have Can and Miner in there with lallana in front of them.

Xavi Allen only plays well against City. Could be a blessing in disguise.

If he plays he gets booked

Not sure about outstanding... Some people really hye Lucas up for some reason??
He's been solid IMO, much better than he has been in a long time...
However he still give needless fouls and gets outmuscled against tall physical midfielders.
But like I say he has been largely solid thus far under Klopp

Allen had his best game against City but in short, in the league, unless there is a major cup game like a semi final or something next, then I say play your strongest team.
What determines that strength is down to the manager.

Aaaargh!!! He has BY FAR the most successsful tackle ratio in the league!! He will always have a few fouls as thats part of what he does (breaks down play) drives me nuts people dont get this.

3 points available for every game, Palace is as important as City.
Lucas plays in my opinion.

If we dont/cant beat palace without lucas we probably don't deserve to. Playing Lucas against man city increases our chances imo

Play to win the next match, not the one after

Agree with this. Put out your best possible team every game, you can't take anything for granted in this league anymore.
