I think sometimes it's almost too easy to forget what they've done. Certainly they've never had the recognition they deserve in the national media, who are always ready to pounce on every statement or decision they make as a catastrophic mistake or an embarrassment.

The key to everything for me is that they've struck exactly the right balance between humility and ambition. In some ways this sounds like it should be easy: After all, if you have new owners then what do you want of them? Well, you want them to respect the fans, have short, medium and long term plans for the development of the club and back up their words with cold, hard cash. However, I'm sure we can all think of examples at various clubs where this simply hasn't happened.

In my eyes, owners like ours have shamed some of the others that have come into English football over the years, and present them with a very difficult and awkward question: "Why aren't you doing things like this?"

I love our owners. They seem to genuinely care about football and our club as well as cash.

They've transformed our club bottom up and I'm hugely grateful to them for that.
