Chance wasted

Don't know what to think really! One of our best, if not the best, performance all season, and thats taking the city game into account. We were amazing. Absolutely so dominant. We deserved so much more - a recurring theme all season. Our performances have deserved many more points.

Overall I'm so proud of the boys and manager, but we cannot keep throwing away leads this season if we want to have a successful year. We've failed to capitalise so many times this season when we've been on top. Arsena were so poor it was embarrassing, with their injuries and midweek travel, we should have won.

How do arsenal always find a facking way <angry>

What we are lacking is a killer instinct when we are on top in games. I say this despite the Man City and Bournemouth results. If we can find a way to consistently put teams away we can do really well this season. Seems an obvious thing to say but that's where I see us at the moment which is credit due to Poch and the lads.

Don't get me wrong, a great point. I would have happily taken that before the game. It just feels a chance wasted due to the circumstances and the way we dominated.

Yep arsenal prob had the better chances, but if anything that agrees with the point of the article. We were so dominant, we should have made more of our chances and created some great openings. Many times we had loads of space and were running at their defence, but made the wrong decision or a bit of early showboating. Arsenals only chances were crosses, long balls and headers... #stokefootbal

Arsenal were on a 9 game wining streak , we dominated them for 75 mins but due to the high tempo we burnt out .
Should have wrapped it up in the first half but we are a young team and will learn how to win this sort of game by 3 or more in the future.

A good result against a good Arsenal team.

We need to be more clinical in front of goal, that should come as the team grows

I thought Tottenham had a lot more chances then Arsenal and really could have scored 4 today.

With Liverpool losing today (which totally surprised me as I thought their renaissance was going to keep going) then there is no reason why top four isn't attainable because I'd say we've just lost a main competitor. I'm finding it hard to see who can stop us what with City dropping two points against Villa who only just scraped a win against Norwich.

Are City starting to fail? If so(As they have done before) Cl football will go to WHL next season.

Pool fan Martin Tyler was obviously willing an Arsenal winner in his commentary, he see Spurs as a rival to Pool for 4th place and so wanted us to lose.
