That was the hors d'oeu-vre

before Spurs smash Arsenal at WHL again.

In the most one-sided North London Prem Derby since the teams last met in the prem, Arsenal somehow flukely got out of jail. Spurs bossed the game from start to finish, and other than a bit of hoof ball from Arsenal, only one team look likely to be challenging for the title.

Excellent performance from the very young Spurs side. The long unbeaten run keeps going. Three points would have been good, but I will settle for a point. Next up the Hammers. Lets follow this up by beating both West Ham and Chelsea, then we can talk title challenges.

PS The Liverpool Top Four Charge is going well.

For Giroud's two headers I raise you headers from Dier and Aldweirald. Spurs had more chances as simple as that.

It was 10-8 to Arsenal in chances

Arsenal definitely should have won that game in the end.

Giroud had three good headed-opportunities, the second of which was an absolute sitter.

Spurs played with good intensity in the first half, but fatigued in the second and Özil started ripping them apart.

Özil could have had 4 assists today. Still broke a PL record though.

Big chance missed for Arsenal to go two points clear at the top.

Yes Arsenal were missing attacking players but you forget we were also missing Chadli, N'Jie and Townsend.

How unfortunate

On possession and bossing the game, Spurs should have definitely won it though, and well before Giroud got his chances.
------------------------------------------------------------

You were dominating the midfield physically but weren't creating many chances.

The game was always more even than Gary Neville was making it seem.

Toby A's header was the only clear cut chance you had aside from Kane's goal, and that happened after Giroud had his first 2 chances.

Game of two halves really.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
10 shots to 14 in our favour

Both with 4 shots on target each

That shows we had more attacking intent than you but with out the killer shots to make it count.

We dominated the game from back to front and should have won easily

You dominated from back-to-front, yet had less chances (10-8) and were reliant on Giroud failing to convert 3 clear chances... just to get a draw?

In the 2nd half, almost everytime Ozil got the ball on the right, he destroyed your defence with his crosses.

On chances created yes, it was more even. But on general game play and momentum, you were beaten all over the park.

Never seen such a dominant performance from Spurs over Arsenal.
