Wolves - A Team in Transition

So it appears we are being fed this line again. This is the same line we have been fed at the start of the past three seasons.

So the question is, when will we cease to be a team in transition?

Losing me now tats, luck has nowt to do with it.

Better players come and go, some we should have kept, some we shouldn't, Edwards thanks to his great professionalism is always ready.

Not gonna get into an Edwards debate, you think he deserves a place, I don't.

FFS, is Kenny sending them out in some sort of order to defend his lack of success this season?

Next up, Afobe blaming Dicko's injury for his own lack of ambition or Batth telling us that Stearman wasn't sold to Fulham but kidnapped by Barry Hearn and forced to work as a mercenary somewhere in the West End.

Golbourne, the player missing sako more than anybody.

Not a surprise that Golbourne has been trotted out to make excuses as he is one of those that has benefitted most from our abysmal recruitment policy.

He has actually yes, a guy who basically has no competition for his spot.

If Carlsberg did debating societies - this wouldn't be it.

i'm not sure that a team which has basically lost one player (sako) and sold their player of the season (stearman) but has pretty much the rest of the squad still there can count itself as in transition?

other than the fact that we're currently transitioning from a good, attacking side trying to play quality football with a bit of pace and lots of passion, who narrowly missed out on the play offs, into a shambles who play hoofball to a guy who can't be ar$ed.

or maybe Kenny Jackett is going through a transition and is going to ask the fans to start calling him Brenda after the new year.

I think every team in the country is in some kind of transition but it's difficult to see how Wolves are turning into anything that's an improvement this season. Certainly the bright football that Jackett introduced in the early part of his time here is a distant memory now. The reputation he had for bringing new young players in seems to have dried up and Williamson may well keep his place ahead of EEL and Hause and Grant Holt is probably more the future of our attack than Ennis at the moment.

So if we are in transition to something better it's difficult to spot what, other than a club that might get sold soon and adopt a totally new direction

Surely he's got his phone number?

Back in the UK now having started the day in Manila, then flying back via Beijing. A 32 hour day. 30 so far.

My only glimpse of the northern lights was on a flight to Beijing, though not as impressive as seeing them from the ground i am sure.
