OH No Arro

Well arrow has got his own fan club now!
Just take a look at the Spurs board.

Great to have so much faith in the foxes.

It's all conjecture, perhaps a better question would be where would ranieri have taken Leicester last season?

Pearson had a poor season until the last nine games and those games proved beyond doubt that his selections and tactics for the majority of last season were poor and costing us results.

In particular the omission of Albrighton, playing Vardy on the wing (which we are now slating Hodgson for), persisting with Ulloa as the lone front man for much of the season and other bizarre tactical decisions.

To his credit he got it right in the end and the last 9 games showed how the team could have performed for much of last season - eg not rooted to the bottom of the table with no win in 14 games.

I think Pearson would have probably carried on the good run for a while, but even the most ardent Pearson fan surely has to admit that ranieri is the better tactician

Give it a rest about Pearson, he only changed tactics because Cambiasso suggested it. If he was that good he wouldnt be sat on his backside in Sheffield right now. He was tactically out of his depth at Premier League level - he will get another job in the Championship soon

Incidentally why are we doing all this d1 ck measuring with Spurs’ fans?

Their profile as a Premier League club and subsequent expectations, are totally different from ours. We are massively exceeding expectations at present. They are about on a par with theirs.

If we finish near Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the season I reckon we’d look at pre-season expectations and all agree that they’ve been exceeded – because we’d almost certainly be in and around the top 6.

We'll know when he's been here long enough to assess him properly rather than riding on Pearson's coat tails 😜

Its an Arro thing Joby nothing to do with the rest of us it his digit in their vice at the moment.

BS interesting way of looking at although you know my views on NP as a person all managers would struggled. But NP's stubborness meant player ike albrighton who could of done the job he is doing for us know could of done it them.
As for the bull that CR's doing it with NP's players they seem well and truly CR's and he is getting the best out of them and his new signings and with a smile on his face.

I never quite understand this talk about being a “Pearson fan” amongst Leicester fans. Primarily I’m not a Pearson fan or a Ranieri fan – I’m a Leicester City fan! As such I fail to understand, in the context of LCFC history, how I can’t be a Pearson fan.

B A LCFC Fan is right – not the bit about the old wives tale about Cambiasso, but that we should give it a rest about Pearson. That era has gone and we can all reflect whether Pearson picking us up from our lowest position in the history of our club and restoring us in the Premier League was a good era for our club.

Ranieri is our manager now and it is only after he leaves, or has been here for a long time, that we can really measure his achievements against other past managers. Naturally, as a Leicester fan, I’d love to be sitting here in 2 years time typing about him being our best manager in history.

Calm down Joby. A spurs fan asked a reasonable question which we are responding to. It's hardly unusual to compare your new manager with your old one and consider what might have been.

The Pearson fan bit basically means that while overwhemingly Leicester supporters at heart, the fan base was quite split into those who loved Pearson and those who didn't. There are exceptions of course

Is not an Arro thing at all Nev, it's me being outspoken about my opinions and them not liking it!

All they're trying to do is mock our players and you seem to be fine with it but I'll give the arrogant cockney wangers my thoughts. It's not me on their board, they're all over here like obsessed rats!

Remember that before saying it's an Arro thing, I'm just defending my team so if you have an issue with that then take it somewhere else!!

OOps I think I may have started something here.

With regard to CR, I think he is being very clever with his tactics. Even more credit to him for getting the players to buy into them.
I am convinced he changes our set up 'slightly' to wrong foot the opposition.
Take for instance droping Marez, when he was flying.
The opposition set up to play him and then found a different tactic. The players seem to be able to cope with a sudden reversal of tactics while mid game, and that then totaly blows away the opposition.
This would have been an issue with Pearson.
I also think NP fell out with too many players, regardless of their form, and dropped them from the squad entirely, thereby not having the continuity we see this season.

Interestingly I hear that Ranieri doesn't have the same close relationship with the players Pearson did.

This is the lovable lovely Ranieri vs the ogre Pearson?

Reality is, we thank Pearson, and we move on and support Ranieri. No doubting tactics have stepped on, and school report so far reads A*!
